Common Withdrawal Issues on BitTap
I have withdrawn funds from BitTap to another exchange/wallet, but the funds have not arrived. Why?
Withdrawing funds from BitTap to an external wallet or exchange involves three key steps:
- Submitting a withdrawal request on BitTap – You initiate a withdrawal request on the BitTap platform.
- Blockchain network confirmation – The transaction is processed and confirmed by the blockchain network.
- Deposit into the target platform or wallet – The funds finally arrive at the target wallet or exchange.
In most cases, a Transaction ID (TxID) will be generated within 30-60 minutes after submitting the withdrawal request. Once generated, it means BitTap has successfully broadcast the withdrawal transaction. However, the time required to complete the withdrawal depends on blockchain congestion and the confirmation requirements of the target platform.
Example:
If you withdraw 2 BTC from BitTap to your personal wallet, BitTap will create and broadcast the transaction upon confirmation.
- During this process, you can view the TxID in your BitTap withdrawal records.
- The funds will remain in a pending status and be temporarily frozen until blockchain confirmation is completed.
For example, if the target platform or wallet requires 2 blockchain confirmations, you need to wait until 2 confirmations are completed before the funds appear in your wallet.
- Different platforms and wallets may have different confirmation requirements.
- If the blockchain network is congested, the processing time for your transaction may be delayed.
Important Notes:
- If the blockchain explorer shows the transaction is unconfirmed, please wait for the network to complete confirmation.
- If the blockchain explorer shows the transaction is confirmed, but the funds have not arrived, please contact the customer support team of the receiving platform or wallet for assistance.
- If a TxID has not been generated within 6 hours after submitting the withdrawal request, please contact BitTap customer support and provide a screenshot of the transaction records to receive further assistance.
How to Check the Transaction Status on the Blockchain?
You can check the transaction status using the following steps:
- Log in to your BitTap account and go to the [Assets] or [Wallet History] page.
- Find your withdrawal record.
- If the [Status] field shows "Under Review", your transaction is still being processed by the system or manually reviewed.
- If the [Status] field shows "Processing", please wait for the blockchain confirmation process to complete.
- If the [Status] field shows "Completed", you can click on the [Transaction ID] to view the transaction details on the blockchain explorer.
Precautions:
- Ensure the receiving platform or wallet supports the withdrawn cryptocurrency and network.
- If unsure, confirm with the target platform or wallet before initiating a withdrawal to avoid the risk of losing funds.
- Always double-check the withdrawal address and network before submitting a withdrawal request.
- Monitor blockchain confirmation status to track the progress of your transaction.
