Futures trading allows users to amplify their trading size using leverage and engage in both long and short positions. Below is a complete guide to BitTap futures trading.
Step 1: Enter the Futures Trading Page
On the app homepage or in the "Trade" menu, tap "Futures Trading" to access the futures market.
Step 2: Adjust Leverage
In the futures trading interface, tap the leverage option to adjust the leverage multiplier. BitTap supports flexible leverage, allowing users to choose a suitable leverage ratio based on their risk tolerance.
Step 3: Select Order Type
BitTap offers multiple order types, including:
- Limit Order: Users set their own price, and the order will be executed at the specified or better price.
- Market Order: Executes immediately at the best available market price.
- Stop-Loss/Take-Profit Order: Sets a trigger condition to automatically execute the order when the target price is reached.
Step 4: Open a Position (Buy or Sell)
Choose "Go Long (Buy)" or "Go Short (Sell)", enter the order amount, and tap confirm to execute the trade.
Step 5: View Orders (Limit Orders)
Monitor active limit orders before execution.
Step 6: Manage Positions
In the "Positions" section, you can view your current trades, including unrealized profits and losses, leverage, and margin. Users can adjust stop-loss and take-profit settings or choose to close positions to lock in profits or minimize losses.
Step 7: Close a Position
When the market price reaches your target, you can manually close the position or use the stop-loss/take-profit function for automatic closing.
