You Can Delete Your BitTap Account
Please note that according to BitTap’s User Privacy Policy, once you delete your account, all user data and transaction records will be permanently deleted. This means that you will not be able to recover your account or retrieve any historical records.
How to Delete Your BitTap Account
If you decide to delete your BitTap account, follow these steps:
1. Log in to Your BitTap Account
- Use your email or phone number and password to log in to the BitTap official website or mobile app.
2. Go to Account Settings
- After logging in, click on your profile picture or account icon in the top-right corner.
- Select “Account Settings” or “Security Settings”.
3. Find the Account Deletion Option
- In the “Account Settings” or “Security Settings” page, go to the “Account Security” section.
- Click “Delete Account” to proceed.
4. Clear Your Account Balance
- You must ensure that your account balance is at least $10 before proceeding with account deletion.
5. Identity Verification
- The system will require you to complete Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) using either Google Authenticator or SMS verification to confirm the request.
6. Confirm Deletion
- The system will display a final confirmation notice, informing you that all data, assets, and transaction records will be permanently deleted and cannot be recovered.
7. Complete the Deletion
- Once the process is complete, your account will be deleted, and you will no longer be able to log in to BitTap.
- All data will be permanently removed.
Important Notes:
- Make sure to withdraw all assets and cancel any pending transactions or open orders before deleting your account.
- Once an account is deleted, all related data will be permanently erased and cannot be recovered or reactivated.
