1. Forgot to Enter or Entered the Wrong Tag/Memo
Certain cryptocurrencies (such as BNB, XLM, XRP) require a Tag, Memo, or Payment ID when depositing. If you forget to enter or enter the wrong information, your deposit may not be credited to your account.
2. Entered the Wrong Deposit Address
If you enter the wrong deposit address when transferring funds, your assets may not be credited and could even be lost permanently.
3. Deposited an Unsupported Token
Before making a deposit, you must verify that BitTap supports the token and network. Depositing an unsupported token or using an unsupported network may result in a failed deposit or loss of funds.
For some deposit errors, BitTap does not provide asset recovery services. However, if a significant loss occurs due to a deposit mistake, BitTap will make every effort to assist in recovering the funds. While BitTap will provide the necessary materials and support, fund recovery is not guaranteed.
If you encounter such an issue, please provide the following information:
✔ Your BitTap account email
✔ Token name
✔ Deposit amount
✔ Transaction ID (TxID)4. Deposited Funds to a Non-BitTap Address
If you accidentally send tokens to an address that does not belong to BitTap, BitTap cannot process or recover the transaction.
5. Chose the Wrong Blockchain Network
Selecting a network that does not match BitTap’s deposit requirements (e.g., sending ERC-20 USDT to a TRC-20 address) will cause the deposit to fail.
6. Deposit Amount is Below the Minimum Limit
Some cryptocurrencies have minimum deposit limits. If your deposit does not meet the required minimum, the funds may not be credited.
7. Network Delays or Congestion
Blockchain network congestion can cause delays in transaction confirmations, leading to slow deposit processing. If your deposit is delayed, please check the transaction status on the blockchain explorer.
