When depositing cryptocurrency on BitTap, if your deposit is not credited on time, it may be due to one of the following common reasons. Please follow the troubleshooting steps below and take the appropriate actions to resolve the issue.
1. Deposit Is Awaiting Network Confirmation
When making a deposit, transactions must be confirmed by the blockchain network before they can be credited. BitTap requires a minimum number of confirmations for each cryptocurrency, which may be higher than the blockchain’s standard requirement to ensure transaction security.
Example:
- BTC Deposits: The blockchain may only require 1 confirmation, but for security reasons, BitTap requires at least 2 confirmations before the deposit is credited.
Solution:
- Use a blockchain explorer (e.g., Etherscan, Tronscan) to check your Transaction ID (TxID) and verify the confirmation status.
- If the transaction has not yet reached the required number of confirmations, please wait patiently. Once confirmed, the funds will be credited automatically.
2. Deposited an Unsupported Coin or Used the Wrong Network
Before making a deposit, you must ensure that the chosen cryptocurrency and network are supported by BitTap. If you deposit an unsupported token or use an unsupported network (e.g., sending ERC-20 tokens to a TRC-20 address), your funds may not be credited or could even be lost permanently.
Solution:
- Before depositing, check BitTap’s Deposit & Withdrawal Status page to verify if the cryptocurrency and network are supported.
- If the deposit was made to an unsupported token or network, contact BitTap customer support as soon as possible for assistance. However, the chances of recovering funds in this case may be low.
3. Deposit Amount Is Below the Minimum Requirement
Each cryptocurrency has a minimum deposit amount requirement. If the amount is lower than the required limit, even if the transaction is confirmed on the blockchain, the funds may not be credited to your BitTap account.
Solution:
- Check BitTap’s cryptocurrency deposit page to verify the minimum deposit amount.
- Ensure that the deposit amount meets the required limit before proceeding.
- If you have already deposited an amount below the minimum limit, contact BitTap customer support for assistance. Manual intervention may be required to recover your funds.
4. Wallet Maintenance
If BitTap is performing maintenance on a specific cryptocurrency wallet, deposits for that currency may be temporarily suspended. During maintenance, deposits may be delayed until the process is completed.
Solution:
- Check BitTap’s official announcements to see if there is any ongoing wallet maintenance.
- If the wallet is under maintenance, please wait patiently. Once maintenance is completed, your funds will be credited automatically.
- Stay updated on the maintenance progress through BitTap’s announcements or notifications.
