We are continuously expanding BitTap's SMS verification coverage to enhance user experience. However, some countries and regions may not yet support this feature.
If you cannot enable SMS verification:
Check our global SMS verification coverage list to confirm whether your country or region supports this function. If your country/region is not listed, we recommend using Google Authenticator or other Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) methods to secure your account.
If your country/region supports SMS verification but you still cannot receive the code, please follow these steps:
- Check your mobile network signal: Ensure your device is connected to a stable network with strong signal reception.
- Disable antivirus software or call-blocking apps: Some antivirus software, firewalls, or call-blocking apps may block BitTap's SMS verification codes. Temporarily disable these applications.
- Restart your phone: Restarting your device can resolve certain network connection or device settings issues.
- Try voice verification: If SMS is still not received, you can opt for voice verification instead.
- Reset your phone number: If the issue persists, try changing or resetting the phone number linked to your account.
Important Notes:
- Before requesting a new verification code, ensure your phone has a strong signal and is not blocking SMS messages.
- If you have tried multiple times but still haven't received the verification code, you can use Google Authenticator or email verification instead.
