If you need to change the email linked to your BitTap account, please follow these steps:
1. Log in to Your Account:
- Open the BitTap official website or mobile app.
- Log in using your current email and password.
2. Go to Account Settings:
- After logging in, click on your profile icon or account menu in the top-right corner.
- From the dropdown menu, select "Account Settings" or "Security Settings".
3. Locate the Email Change Option:
- In the Account Settings page, find the "Email" section.
- Click the "Change" button next to it.
4. Verify Your Identity:
- For security purposes, the system will require identity verification.
- Depending on the prompt, you may need to enter a verification code sent to your current linked email or complete two-factor authentication (2FA).
5. Enter Your New Email Address:
- After identity verification, enter the new email address you want to link.
- The system will send a verification email to the new address.
6. Confirm Your New Email:
- Open your new email inbox and look for the verification email from BitTap.
- Click the verification link in the email to complete the change.
7. Email Change Completed:
- After completing the above steps, your BitTap account will be successfully linked to the new email address.
- You can now use your new email to log in.
